Who I Am

This website is operated by Kai Adamek, an independent European window agent doing business as Windows Guy, based in Florida, US. Full business address will be listed here once available. I help US builders, architects, and developers source premium windows and doors from European manufacturers.

What Data I Collect

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data. This includes pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected through analytics.

If you submit a quote request or contact form, the information you provide (name, email, project details) is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Why I Collect It

Analytics data helps me understand how visitors use this site so I can improve the experience - better content, faster load times, and more relevant information for your projects.

Data Sharing

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Analytics data collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google under their data processing terms. No personal data is shared with any other third party.

• geo - Stores your detected region (US or EU) to show the appropriate consent banner. Expires after 30 days. Category: Necessary.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics 4 - I use GA4 with Google Consent Mode v2. When consent is denied (or not yet given by EU visitors), GA4 operates in cookieless mode and collects no identifiable data. When consent is granted, GA4 uses cookies to provide more detailed analytics. IP addresses are anonymized.

Your Rights

US Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of data sharing. You can do this by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the website footer, or by declining cookies when the consent banner appears.

Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (GA4 default), after which it is automatically deleted. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and manage any resulting business relationship.

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. For significant changes, I will make reasonable efforts to notify visitors through a prominent notice on this site.
